Richardson Electronics, Ltd. and Powerlink, Ltd. have teamed up to develop a remote monitoring solution for RF Generators in Trumpf® Laser machines. REdi 4.0 continuously monitors vital signs of the RF generator that will allow accurate recordkeeping, threshold based email alert generation, and proactive support that avoids costly downtime commonly experienced through traditional and reactive tele-diagnostics. Customers can trust a dedicated monitoring of the “heartbeat” of their machine, which enables them to proactively identify problems and predict the optimum time to replace the RF tube. This leads to reduced stock and increased cash flow, the ability to track and identify data that leads up to a fault, and maximize life cycle functionality.
